• S Aruna, MS (Anatomy) is the Professor and Head, Department of Anatomy, at Indira Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute (IGMC & RI), Puducherry.
• She graduated from Madurai Medical College and did her MS (Anatomy) at the prestigious Madras Medical College.
• She has 23 years of teaching experience for medical and allied health UG and PG students.
• Dissection has always been her passion.
• Her favorite topics are Gross Anatomy, Embryology, and Neuroanatomy. She has received Dr Martin Cooper best scientific paper presentation award twice.
• She has more than 20 publications in various National and International journals to her credit.
